Getting to Salhouse Broad carparkSalhouse Broad Visitor Carpark,
From Norwich: Head north east on Salhouse Road towards Salhouse. In Salhouse turn left at the roundabout, taking the first exit onto Mill Road. Then take the second right onto Lower Street. After 1 mile the turning for the carpark will be on your left.
From Wroxham: take the B1140 to Salhouse village, turning left onto Lower Street just by The Bell public house, then follow the road through the village until you reach the carpark for Salhouse Broad.
Salhouse is about 10km to the north-east of National Cycle Route 1 which passes through Norwich. National Cycle Route 30 passes along the Norfolk Coast about 30km to the east.
By Public Transport:
From Norwich: There are buses every 30 minutes throughout the day from Norwich city centre and from outside Norwich train station, 7 days a week and once you arrive in Salhouse, from the bus stop on Thieves Lane, it is just a 15 minute walk to Salhouse Broad.
From Wroxham: Take a Norwich-bound bus from outside Roys department store, leaving every 30 minutes throughout the day 7 days a week and get off at Thieves Lane in Salhouse.
Alternatively there is a train station at Salhouse with trains running 7 days a week, then take a short cycle ride along quiet country lanes to Salhouse Broad or to walk there takes just 45 minutes along the pretty public footpaths around the village.
